I was talking to a beekeeper and he says that there is a very serious problem. The whole hive collapse thing they have in the US hasn't been happening here. YET. it is not thought to bee a disease or parasite, but they dont have clue what is causing it.
I know the main food source for bees in the US is vey different to the UK.
US has vast areas of GM crops, no one at the time knew the effect this would have on bees. Is this one of them? If it is it will stay a mystery because there are big bucks in GM?
Notice UK has very small amounts of GM and doesn't have this problem.
