Tim's aim was never to win - We all knew he couldn't, but to shake up the other candidates, especially the Tory (Who we all knew would win), enough to make them realise that they can't just be democratic on polling day, they need to LISTEN to the demands of their constituents in between times too... This appears to be something which is getting forgotten rather a lot...
That, and to show that we are getting there. Each election we poll higher than the last. This isn't just us making noises about it, people are actually starting to see us as not only a viable alternative, but the ONLY alternative...
