I'm not saying that the profiteering businesses which now infest the globe are anything other than the vermin this clearly shows De Beers to be. They are not helping the situation in the African states, but again I restate my point, we aren't helping there, and we can't help there until the local will drives local people to action. Only then can we support them in building the self-sufficient countries they deserve.

Before you think I've gone soft, I have an ulteriour(sp?) motive... If their own countries are made more desirable places to live, with prospects and hope, safety and security, then fewer of them will want to come here... And we don't want them here...
