Once of a day if you slipped and fell and hurt yourself that was it. You got up, rubbed it better and got on with it. Or if the worst came to the worst and you broke a bone you went to hospital and got a pot on it.

Nowadays we wrap our kids up in so much cotton wool it's ridiculous. As a school governor I get faced with all these risk assessment doofers and would you believe we even have to assess how much risk is involved in a child getting on and off a hired coach when they go on a school trip!
