You are right Poppy I raised the thread because I just wondered who people perceived to be the bigger threat to national security. I have a big fear of there being a terror campaign by Muslim fanatics but can't remember having the same fear when the IRA were about.
My brother served in Northern Ireland and my brother-in-law has served in Iraq but I would never say I know how they felt whilst under fire. I do know the effects it can have on their family. |
