The cartidge ejection port is on the right hand side of the body, if you fire the "real" gun left handed you'll get red hot spent cartridges in your left ear... Which is not desirable.
This gun CAN be fired left handed, though you'd best lock the bolt back first (i.e. turn off the simulated recoil), or it'll take your ear off anyway...
