It is per item. Which is why it is a complete rip off! Thankfully I work with medics who I can get private prescriptions from to make things cheaper. I also have a fantastic chemist who will refund you the difference if it can be purchased cheaper privately.

As for the hayfever mystery Bruv - It is very variable from year to year. I never suffered until about 4-5 years ago and my symptoms are different from year to year. One year it is a runny nose and plenty of sneezing, last year it was swollen eyelids! Most attractive. A couple of years ago meteorologists were very confused by a rather large yellow cloud heading over to the UK from Germany. Turned out to be a huge pollen cloud and it caused an increase in hayfever symptoms.
