A winter of discontent anyone?

Binmen have been at this for a few years now. Wanting to do less and less for more and more. Councils actually have a duty of care on this issue, so Terry is bang on the money when he says take the fight to them. It is the Councils who have the contracts with the 'refuse' collectors if you'll pardon the wordplay, not you as the taxpayer, so if they don't lift your garbage, it's a problem that the shitheads at townhall have to sort. They should either fuck the contractor off for breach and get another one in who is prepared to honour their contract or sort them out either way. Problem here is corruption - too many brown envelopes to win the tenders for waste collection means the council will not get rid of underperforming contractors, and they're awarding them 5-10 year renewals instead of annual competitive tenders.
