Just so long as we don't go down the biofuel road at the expense of food production. I think we should look at 'recycled waste' fuel.

I remember years ago walking the south coast of England and passing one of those nodding-donkeys. I had no idea at the time there was oil under England.

Despite predictions that we're coming to the end of North Sea oil indications are that there are vaste deposits under the Minch and elsewhere off the west coast of Scotland - bigger even that the North Sea fields. Getting it out won't be easy though, but if demand is there the oil companies will do it.

they have found large oil reserves in Dorset already and off the coast, not sure why they are keeping quiet about it. I was common knowledge down thee when Lived there about 5 years ago

Caught a piece of The Eleventh Hour documentary tonight, too much to mention except for the idea that the world is a sealed system.
Its energy all comes from the sun, and we are useing up reserves, greater than we are creating them.
The world is living on credit, energywise, and unless we can reverse that, we are all doooomed.
