(Reminds me of a cartoon I saw once from the Great Strike. "I don't deny you are doing a days work, Mr. Smith, but I object to paying you a weekly wage for it").

Still a problem for the council to take care of, not the poor bastard who's got rotting waste outside their house.

I think we should all fill our bins with urine. If the bin men are going to take the piss, lets give them some...

So there should be no limitations concerning working practice ?
That is your answer to a workers complaint......Laziness ?

Don't you see they are making as many excuses NOT to collect rubbish as they possibly can. The only possible reason for this, is to cut down the work they are expected to do.

So, do you feel that it is fair?

I've moved the bin to the roadside myself (as they now refuse to do this).
I've made sure that recycling is separated from refuse (as they refuse to do this).
Now they can tell me that a bin, which I moved, is too heavy for them to move? Sorry... thats not a reasonable workers complaint, thats just another excuse...

The Workers signed up to work.
They could be on the generous benefit payments for sitting at home.

Perhaps......just perhaps.....their story is not getting across.
Perhaps their inept attempt to limit the amount of rubbish to be manhandled is in reply to a management drive to make them do twice as much as before........

Half as often.

Perhaps, instead of everyone always trying to get at their boss by punishing the customer, they should attempt to get at their boss by punishing their boss.

Just because the binmen are less efficient, doesn't mean the workers are lazy.
Make be they are being used to increase the profits of the fat cats.
