There was a bin man on the radio yesterday morning. He works for Westminster council and does (in some cases) more than one pickup a week from certain areas. They have, not only to manipulate sacks which are too heavy for one person to lift, but they will go down to half basements to get them. They move the HUGE commercial bins which weight many times a wheely bin.

HE can't understand what this cr*p is about, and HE called these binmen lazy... Given that I don't feel so bad following suit.

Heath and Safety is one thing, but this is just another excuse. If the lifts can't lift full bins, then get them fixed.

H.
