We are sorry.

At around 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, we experienced a major problem on the network which left many customers without an internet service. Our engineers began working on it immediately. Unfortunately due to the magnitude and nature of the failure, service could not be restored until late on Saturday evening.

PS - If any customers are still experiencing problems connecting to the internet, this may be because you need to restart your router. To do this, turn your router off for a minute and then turn it back on again.

Interesting, but I think I've reproduced it...

It goes something like this, if your software or ISP blocks cookies then the site attempts to allow you to log in by putting a long random looking string on the end of the URL once you are logged in. The problem appears to be that something causes that string to get lost and you get logged out (As an aside, does your skin also change?)

Please can you look at your internet, firewall, antivirus and antispyware software and make sure it is NOT interfering with cookies?

I am on firefox and am on Sky. I'm only getting logged out of Talk Britain, no other forum. Maybe Talk Britain doesn't want me any more! LOL

Well it had started doing it every time I posted, but I have just posted a couple of times and sent 2PMs and didnt get logged out on any of them, so keeping fingers crossed.
