I found just grinning and saying "that's nice dear" to absolutely everything and taking all their books and closing the door works.
They only do it once

Used to share a house just round the corner from Twickenham Rugby Stadium - Site of the annual JW love in (Or whatever they call it).

He suggested we have some fun with them, so one time we saw a couple coming and my mate got a pair of knives, rather nice ones with ornate handles. He covered them in ketchup, and answered the door with the knives in his hand and said:

"Ahh, you're just in time for the second sacrifice, please, come in"

You've never seen JW's move so fast in your life!!!

Is that me ?

As always I have another way of looking at things....so here goes.

If you had just found out that everyone was dieing because of their evil ways......(like being able to give blood to save their lives).........wouldn't you feel duty bound to let everybody know ?

I was raised 'in the faith' by my converted parents, who later left.
I get peed off too, but fully understand where these people get the drive to do what they do, and its not easy to do.....given the reaction on here and at each door they knock.

I always thank them profusely for calling on me, tell them I know my own mind, that I have made my own choices and thank them again, telling them I am very busy sorry we cant talk further, refuse their literature and close the door.

They are exercising the freedoms that you all hold dear.....would you have it any other way ?

My reaction is usually something like:

For fuck sake, piss off *Slam*

(Or 'Fuck off and leave me alone' - I'm the daughter and witness)

Sorry, wasn't logged in but needed to contribute. There were generally several expletives in her version of 'please leave before I kill you'.

Religion interests me and i have invited them in and spoken to them. I was brought up Roman Catholic and had a catholic education but i do like talking religion sometimes.

Personally i dont believe in God but it interests me that other people do.
