Al-Quada are not the same as the internal Muslim threat.
Al-Quada are a bit of a mystery, a loose grouping of like minded nutters, set up to confront the march of american influence throughout the world. They are partly the american's worst nightmare and their bestest present ever, in the fact they now have a genuine enemy to blame for any actions they take anywhere around the globe.
I dont fear Al-Quada half as much as the dissillusioned Muslims in this country who are using Al-Quada as a banner to commit crimes under. And our own people who now have excuses to impose greater restrictions on us, for our own good.
I believe if there were a real internal terrorist threat there would have been many more attacks on soft targets.
My most real fear is the over reaction of decent people to the situation we find ourselves in at the moment. There appears to be an orchestrated rise in national pride, which in itself is not bad, but it seems to be anti outsiders, rather than pro UK, in my view the worse kind.
