I think the point is not that it was, or was not, displayed for a long period of time, but that it was simply not appropriate subject matter in the first place.

There is a side question of whether it should even be in the art gallery, but that isn't the point here either.

IMHO, the editors of the video should have removed that section, but others have other views. Ultimately what she did can never be erased and as long as the "art work" is never used to glorify her or her actions, but only to record and remember them, then I think it's nothing more than tasteless. If, however, it is used to in someway elevate her or her crimes then I think it becomes something much worse and we (as a nation) should consider requesting it be moved to permanent storage. (I can't quite bring myself to suggest destroying a piece of art work, however distasteful).

No!!! the fact that it IS in the Gallery makes any further discussion moot.
It is a current snapshot of the country as it stands....not how we want to present it.

Its an Image I have seen before......why has nobody complained til now ?
