I just tell mine to go to his room till he's calmed down... makes me chuckle sometimes hearing him shouting at his pillow how unfair the world is and why can't he have sweets everyday and silly stuff like that...

I would want to know though what percentage of the number are non-English speaking, and speak only the mother tongue at home.

Speaking another language at home is NOT the problem in my humble opinion......it is when you live in an area that is single language orientated.....so that English is only spoken at school.
