How apt it’s called St George’s Day, with thousands ‘chasing the dragon’
All the way,
So much about England that’s really great,
Like the highest teenage pregnancy rate,
Then there’s……….Let me see,
We’re the top country for obesity,
Then there’s………………. let me think,
Our teenagers are he worst for drugs and Drink.
And to make a Saint turn in his grave,
Our Kids are the most likely to misbehave.
The Countries awash with booze and drugs,
And you can’t go out nights, for drunken thugs.
And if that isn’t enough to bear,
There’s a plague of Tesco’s every where.
Even President Blair realized He’d made his place of birth,
A kinda New Labour hell on earth.
A good politician , he didn’t hang about,
Took all his money, and got out.
And if that’s not enough to get you down,
Were lumbered with dour Gordon Brown,
Sinking us deeper in the ditch,
Robbing the poor to give to the rich
Can’t we make Scotland independent today,
And send an undesirable alien on his way?
Well, St. George’s is nearly over for another year,
But by then will England still be here?

In conversation yesterday, I mentioned to a 20 something male, that it was St Georges day tomorrow.....meaning today.
He didn't know who he was, asking he is Scottish isn't he ?
I said no thats Andrew, I then mentioned David and Patrick, none of which he could place.....the conversation was bizarre.

Why weren't all the newsreaders wearing red roses?

They aren't allowed, or shamrock or daffs etc, only day they are allowed to acknowledge by wearing something armistices day, when they are allowed to wear a poppy
