East London Advertiser - Bid to rename Shoreditch station 'Banglatown' before it opens

Apparently, a few local Bangladeshi's want to call the Shoreditch High Street Station 'Banglatown' to reflect it's cultural ethnicity.

Local history is ENGLISH! Lots of it , loads in fact.

"When will that be?" say the bells of Stepney

yeah, but they've got culture apprently. Maybe they'd like to pay for the station they'd like to name? I think that would be fair given that they've made their living here, not in Bangladesh.
