I dont get the fascination with being a solo-parent in society.

in my opinion, people who wish to be "solo-parents" and lesbians/gays wanting to somehow get children, they shouldnt have children at all, even if the "technology" is there!

I was a 'solo' parent twice, by choice. I chose not to be with either of their fathers. We did not get on, which causes more stress for the child, so off they go.

Neither of my girls has ever been in trouble, one has a long term relationship and three great kids, the other got a very good degree and went straight into a good job.

One parent families do work.

no i mean, i thought with you, it was failure od relationships, not just going out, wanting kids, planning from start "no father at all"

Why not NT?
I have gay friends who have been together for ever, who would have made amazing parents. I also have gay friends who conceived children, by the normal method, ( lay back and think of England). They are now grandparents and are good at that too.

But, if the woman is financially stable, why not? A child, in my opinion, does not need two parents.

think of one of the many modern reasons for this.

Sweetpea; I think think the lack of full father/Mother families helps degenerate society, however it is subjective but on the whole.

Poppy; well i dont really think its right at all for gays to look after, care for, "make" or "obtain" children in anyway.
