Plenty of online sources for idea. Just keep it nice, and not too gushy, people like that, a bit of humour but not too much, less is more, don't make it last more than 5 minutes or less than 3. You'll be a hit.

The first of the links looks the most promising.....Im not complaining about your help ....but....I can put words together on paper, the problem will be making them come out of my dry faltering mouth with everybody looking at me.

So its not the content Im really concerned about, its the phsychological hurdle of standing up and making a public speech.
Im a shrinking violet off line....gobby git online.....but at least Im honest ?

my advice is....... find a point just over the top of everyones head and fix on that... thats way you are looking towards the people you are speaking to but they dont know that your not.

Or, rather than fixing a point above everyones head, why don't you turn to your daughter, and aim the speech at her? Make out it's a 'chat' between father and daughter type thing? Tell her how proud you are of her, her brother and sister and how much they all mean to you. Then welcome her husband into your family, and then drop in a few jokes about does he know what he's letting himself in for? That type of thing. I'm sure with a couple of glasses of wine, you'll be fine.
