We have reached the point where we need to TOTALLY reassess what we (as a nation) consider important.

Is it more important to be safe, or to ensure that criminals don't get upset?

Is it more important to be allowed to defend ourselves or not to inconvenience muggers/thieves etc?

Is it so important to be PC that all else pales into insignificance?

The Tony Martin case SHOULD have been a wake up call, but as always happens it was hijacked by the PC brigade who were able to re-interpret, re-express and down-right lie to get their ANTI BRITISH message across. Now here we have the result - Guilty of upholding the law. It's now an arrestable offence to stop (not kill, not injure, just STOP) someone attacking your home.

Time to WAKE THE F*CK UP PEOPLE!!!

Something I have noticed over the last 9 to 10 years is that more and more people are saying things, as you just have, that were just so TOTALY out of character.

See the news paper web sites. And I do not mean JUST the Mail, but the Telegraph, the Guardian, the BBC (!) and EVEN the Times, not only are people expressing the same fears that are expressed hjere, but in the 70s and even until the late 90s it would be jumped all over by the "Libereal/looney left" that haunted thiose places.

IF they dared publish it at all.

Now we have our differences with the press as to the "direction" of their publishing.

BUT, NEVER have I seen so MANY "get through" that talk as we are talking.

There IS a sea change in Britain, and that change has reached the press.

NO longer can they AFFORD to ignore our views (Given that you, Poppy, are a wee bit milder than I )

But WHAT does this say about British society?

When it reaches the press, then the Brits are PISSED off in a BIG way.

Last time they got this riled they invaded Normandy!
