Mention Cliffords tower to a Jew in North England. Or York Minster, where hundreds of Jews were burned as they tried to claim sanctuary, which the bishop answered by ordering the doors to be locked and barricaded to keep them out. Or the inquisition (It was not called that in Britain, but the same things happened) which "caught" more Jews than ANY other group.
Tell that to the Jews who were not allowed to serve as officers in the army or navy until Wellingtons parliament.
Tell that to the THOUSANDS of Jews that were refused permission to enter Britain 1933 to 1944.
See Churchills comments on Jews when it was discussed what to do about the refugees from concentration camps that flooded the allied areas in 1945. (In his diarys an his history of the second world war).
