It doesn't really matter who or what or when ......

The story was posted and agreed by most posters (including myself) that the lack of detail about the attacker led us all to infer he might be non white.

All I questioned....was the mindset that leads us to that inference.
And whether it really matters.

If the idea was to suppress something....it has only heightened unease.

When we find out who did it, then we will know. If the person was non-white, then yes it will, because of the obvious cover-up, one of many in this country.

something I noticed a long time back whilst reading the local rag (Hull Daily Mail) a number of voilent acts (muggings, rapes (male too) murders ect) have been reported with quite limited description, one of the lads @ work freinds had his throat slashed by a illegal immigrate with a failed asylum seeker involed too, the press did not report this but it appeared on the police web site, however when a gang of "white" lads murdered another "white lad" the gang where discribed as "white youths" in the paper, in fact the local rag is rather piss poor, when ex cheif of police where in court for kiddie feeling & porn, the kiddie feeling bit did not get reported locally but did appear in their sister paper the daily mail? go figure?

Police say Jimmy Mizen's attacker had ordered him to fight outside the shop in Lee, south-east London, on Saturday, but the 16-year-old refused.

& which kinda proves my point.......

Mr Lyons said a number of premises had been searched in the hunt for the murderer but no-one had been arrested. He said detectives wanted to trace a middle-aged white man who witnessed a significant amount of the attack.

Sounds as if they don't have a clue who the assailant is, hence the ambiguity about the ID. I wondered why there had been no mention of any arrests.
