I worked full time or was in full time education as well as dj'ing!! ........ At least my kids never went/go short for anything.It was all for them.Hard work/easy work??.....you don't do it for yourself if you have family to support!

If we want to preen ourselves about expertise, then I can also say that I know my music. I must admit that I don't DJ music. But I do play the Keyboards, Guitar, and Drums, to gigging level. My musical tastes span Classical, Blues, Country,Trad and modern Jazz, and Blue Grass; oh I forgot, I also can play the "five stringed banjo quite reasonable and also have a passable voice.

I played the Drums and Guitar also,and i like all types of music,except that grungy metal crap.
My voice is passable if everyone has had 20 pints or more in a Karaoke bar.
