The ordinary people of Burma are in need of aid,
There will hopefully be a charity stall on Tod Market this Thursday, 8th May, anyone who can help on the stall or has items to donate for sale, please contact Bell at the Water Street Shop.
This is an awful disaster and irrespective of our opinion of the government there. These folk need help thank you in advance for your kindness.

We have a "flea market" at my work place this Saturday to do the same thing. My sea battalion is also aranging a sponsored rowing trip, in an old fashioned ships life boat, from Rostock to Kiel, through the Kaiser Wilhelm canal, to Kiel, the three major German navy bases, to raise money.

I can not row, but I will be doing the despatches for the Officials between the three points on the motor bike.

YYEEEHHAAAA!!! Blue lights and sirens again!!!!!

Oh yes, of course, we will also be raising money....BUT!!!!

With respect, this is a country that wants nothing to do with the rest of the world, yet we are now bending over backwards to send billions to yet another backward country.

Why is there never money for our NHS, our Public Transport, our Homeless, people losing homes because of sky high taxes? Yet we can waste millions on yet another country, a country that would never (has never to my knowledge) help another at such a time.
