I think China is suffering for it's past the same way Germany is.

Well guess what chaps, BOTH cultures have a damn long history of doing GOOD.

I happen to agree. I happen also to have a lot of respect for Germany, especially German engineering. I was in Munich recently and felt very comfortable there. Food was yummy too.

China I have a much harder time with as there human rights recored continues to be appalling, but do like a good Chinese meal (yes, I know it is tailored for English taste).
