Default Tiscali suing BT over marketing letters

Tiscali has launched legal action for defamation and malicious falsehood in relation to letters sent by BT to its broadband subscribers.

The letters referenced Tiscali's planned sale of its assets by quoting a news headline saying "Tiscali chief plots sell-off".

In the letter text, BT said: "We can understand why you're wondering what might happen to your Tiscali broadband service. And because no one really knows the answer just yet, it could be a good time to look at an alternative broadband service."

We were Pipex, which got taken over by Tiscali. We didn't like that, so changed to Sky.

I have to say I have been with them for 4 years, and apart from one run in, when I had to get a new line
( and that got fixed when I yelled hard at BT) I have had no trouble at all,
even got a refund for that problem and BT caused it.
Went with them because they were the cheapest at the time, and they were Italian.
Have been very satisfied

You are actually right Sweet, It should be pronounced
"tees" but very short and "caaali" a long sound so sort of like Teescarly.
"i" is always sounded like double ee, and "a" is always sounde like "are"
So you were pretty spot on.
