We have no problems with digital at all. BUT it is transfered by cable. Is it "airwaves" in the U.K?

In the UK there are three different systems, digital satellite (Run by BSkyB), digital cable (The largest network by far is run by Virgin Media), and digital-terrestrial (Over the air). This last is also known as freeview, as it is a limited, subscription free system. It also has the fewest available channels.

We have 34 with Kabel Deutschland. But 2 are blank, one is a TOTAL waste of time and space, the "local channel" where any idiot can go and hire a studio and spout shite. And two "sport" channels (Homo erotic fantacism as my Boss calles it.) and they are worse than the "local channel".

But then, I only see it switched on two or three times a month.
