Cool Mobile phones expose human habits

The whereabouts of more than 100,000 mobile phone users have been tracked in an attempt to build a comprehensive picture of human movements.
The study concludes that humans are creatures of habit, mostly visiting the same few spots time and time again.
Most people also move less than 10km on a regular basis, according to the study published in the journal Nature.
The results could be used to help prevent outbreaks of disease or forecast traffic, the scientists said. "It would be wonderful if every [mobile] carrier could give universities access to their data because it's so rich," said Dr Marta Gonzalez of Northeastern University, Boston, US, and one of the authors of the paper.

Bloody excuse for big brother tactics or what?

All cellular communication devices are effectively mini GPS trackers. There is a website you can go to and register your mobile phone and whenever you want and have access to the internet, provided it's switched on it'll locate it within a hundred yards or so.

This can actually be helpful; They tried to trick Huntley into sending a text message from one of those two little girls' mobile phones so they could triangulate it. Didn't work on that particular occasion as he was a sneeky nonce.

Now it makes you truly wonder why they cant find O. Flip-Bin-Laden?

In the final analysis, a moot point in that instance.

They don't want to.

If you kill or capture all your enemies, the game is over. War is far more profitable than peace, that's why the "Land of the Free" is so hell bent on starting one war after another, they are actually the land of the expensive, and the home of the enslaved.

Yea but they gots 'God on their side'

The reason for fighting
I never got straight
But I learned to accept it
Accept it with pride
For you don't count the dead
When God's on your side.

Well, they must be starting to realise that God is NOT on their side because they are starting to count their dead...
