Question Sky

We are thinking of moving our broadband, TV and phone over to Sky. We were with Pipex, until it was bought by Tiscali and we have noticed a definite drop in broadband speed.

I am looking forward to the MAC tussle!!!

Any advice?

You have to be with BT to use Sky phone services.
Despite the PR and poor customer service Virgin media broadband and telephones take some beating performancewise, their TV is shite compared to Sky.
So go for Sky TV and Virgin Telephone and Broadband

We have BT.

It comes as a package Bruv, and cheaper than we are paying now, by £10.00.

Virgin are OK overall, but I don't know about Bruv2's experience but I have had problems with reliability ever since contracting with them. Almost every week there is some kind of service outage. Was with BT before them but they were greedier.

We have made up our mind. We will go with Sky, but it will have to wait for a couple of weeks till I'm off work for the summer. It seems to have a good rep

Another reason for all this, is that I killed the DTR last night. No digital all night because of cloud cover, then it kept of freezing, so I killed it with one punch.

I am with Sky, it is a good deal but there will be a few weeks settling in period where you service will be pants.

i will add about sky that they are good to their customers, their people know what they are talking about and things are usually sorted quickly. I was on the top package and after a month i was put down to the mid package which was cheaper after they called me and said i didnt need the top package, they saved me money and lost out themselves ..

We are ready for problems, you cannot do a major switchover, without problems. Especially as we will be going from wired to wireless broadband.

What box do you have?
