Mozilla is claiming a download record for the release of Firefox 3.0. In the first 24 hours the web browser was available the software was downloaded more than eight million times, says its creator Mozilla.

Last time I used Firefox I thought it was crap, couldn't load a lot of web content. Couldn't use internet banking for example, and I didn't find it any faster than ie.

I personally think it's a snobbery thing. It's 'cool' not to like IE.

I use Firefox for everything including internet banking, I have never had any problems accessing anything.

The snobbery is not anti IE, its anti domination of inferior Microsoft software in general.

well......

use opera & ie

only one site I know, don't like foxit & opera, which forces me to use ie & adobe

might have a dabble with somethibg new like the chinky ie or this new firefox

Just downloaded it onto my machine which is running Vista 64. Went to unpack it and it just froze.
