Various locales within occupied Poland had their own regulations about size, color, and shape of the badge to be worn, until Hans Frank made a decree that affected all of the Government General in Poland. On November 23, 1939, Hans Frank, the chief officer of the Government General, declared that all Jews above ten years of age were to wear a white badge with a Star of David on their right arm.

It wasn't until nearly two years later that a decree, issued on September 1, 1941, issued badges to Jews within Germany as well as occupied and incorporated Poland. This badge was the yellow Star of David with the word "Jude" ("Jew") and worn on the left side of one's chest.

The rabbinical council of Germany....YES, it WAS still there in 1941! Decided that "As we, as Jews" have done nothing wrong, we have nothing to fear from the law, and we therefore reccomend all Jews to comply fully with the Government wishes to register all Jews as such".

I would assume a jewish list would have been a peice of piss to make from he births & marraiges lists ?

Not really. Well....O.K, married in a synogogue would be a dead give away. But the point is, the Jews were marked in their passports and having to wear the yellow patch (It was not ALWAYS a star, it depended on the local "council").

But they are fine details. The point is, that the saying "Nothing to hide, nothing to fear" is a crock of bull shit.

It also comes over as an EXTREMLY strange attitude from Sweetpea, who, as we all know, just LOVES the police to bits.

This is not something that's unique to this area, but the fact that some of them will be disabled because the local community complained - That's unique,

I don't know if that is true, it may be, it is the first time it has been reported, but some have their own agenda on that count

I would have happly lived in Nazi Germay, get up go to work come home & repeat the next day,

2nd front was a grave error, slave labour / death camps a mistake too ! forced labour is waste of space, expel jews ect..... but funny thing is the allies did not want 'em either !
